I am a tower defense super fan - and I have been wanting to build one as well... This was FANTASTIC - Needs a difficulty setting  - I finished it, but would be good for an difficulty score so one could be able to build up enough Space Crystals to be able to put more towers, and be able to upgrades. The time reversal mechanic is wonderful.

The fact you shared all  the prompts on HN is fantastic.

How did you do the music? Its great!

A cool addition would be that another square on a procedurally tiled version of this would be cool - so the map gets longer so you can extend and reverse - and you can keep growing the map. A special crystal which gave the ship a gun for a brief time would be nifty - and as you level up that gun gets more powerful and last longer - but maybe time reversal also costs more...- like the typical 3-shot, laser, super blaster style top_down_flight mechanics. -- So yeah if it could just procedurally do it like this until there are nine squares at some insane level - then a difficulty score of 'casual' would be really fun (and if you included levels with flying critters you could shoot down (maybe that would be the only way you get those shoot power ups is when its a flying level - ground kills give guns - flying critters just money

LOVE THIS

Thank you -

Thank YOU! I've honestly flattered, I wasn't expecting anyone to care so much about this little game I used as an opportunity to learn game development in general. I'm glad you've enjoyed the game!

There are two music tracks in the game, first one (inside menu) was made by my friend death_unites_us who also balanced the game and designed the waves. Not sure how he made it though, lol. The second one I took from the "Amnesia Fortnight 2012" OST.

I consider this project finished at this moment because we already have an idea for a bigger project, but thanks sincerely for all the feedback and ideas ❤️.

Since you published the prompts - mayhap consider releasing it open source because its a vibe coding master_class -- I had your dev build vid running for quite a while today while I was working on my do-dad (a memory tracking system using a comminication bete=ween the robot and his personal_internal_AI_DBA to dynamically update the memory schema based on the experiences and policies that the bot learns as he slaves_about...

sIm doing it in rust which I have never even looked at rust code in my 26 years in tech... so im having to vide this hard.
